Builtin and DLC Routes compatibility with Interlocking Towers/Enhanced Interlocking Towers
Interlocking Towers and Enhanced Interlocking Tower are assets that enables to add some efficient protection between conflicting traffic operations inside a route/session. Many Trainz users who are creating sessions for DLC routes often ask if they can use ITs or EITs for a specific DLC route. The answer mainly depends on which signalling system is installed on the DLC route and if it is fully compliant for all scripted signals used to the Trainz script signal standard rules.
This page tries to give information for each DLC route available for Tane, TRS19 and TRS22 on which underlying signalling system is used and if these signals are compatible or not with Interlockig Towers or Enhanced Interlocking Towers usage.
