These 3D Studio Max files are provided to demonstrate features and techniques used by the Trainz team during TS2009 developement. This effectively includes TC developement and therefore models provided here may not be strictly feature complete in terms of new content being developed for TS2009.
Conditions of use are virtually identical to those that apply to the TRS2004 Art Source CDs. Please read the included license agreement.txt very carefully.
ACMU1100 Interior (TC1 3DSMax5)
The ACMU1100 interior developed for TC1 is a simple Trainz format diesel/electric cab. It uses one animated lever for the throttle handle and all other moving parts are controlled through normal config.txt settings.
The lit overlays for the cab signalling are attached to a.cabsignal. You will notice in the asset's TC1 config.txt file that each indication is exported as a seperate mesh; and matched up with the appropriate signalling state.

M7 Interior (TC1 3DSMax5)
The Bombardier M7 interior developed for TC1 is a smarter Trainz format diesel/electric cab. It uses a new kind of scripted throttle handle which is a combined power and braking controller.
The lit overlays for the cab signalling are attached to a.cabsignal. You will notice in the asset's TC1 config.txt file that each indication is exported as a seperate mesh; and matched up with the appropriate signalling state.
The lit overlays for the ATP system are attached to a.atp and are called into existence at the appropriate times through the cab's script when the MaxPermittedSpeed Rule is added to a session.
There are also some new fangled numeric displays which are attached through script via the physics system to a.trainpipe_needle_0; a.brakecyl_needle_0 and a.digispeedo
Finally the readout for the "next station" display controlled by formatted triggers on a route is attached via script to a.station

M7A+B (TC1 3DSMax5)
The Bombardier M7 developed for TC1 is a simple Trainz format EMU with passenger queues and ditch lights.
