TransDEM

TransDEM TransDEM Trainz edition, converts digital elevation files to files that be used directly in Trains to model prototypes. Files that are made give proper terrain height and can overlay the map on top of that for building and road placement. TransDEM can also place track and level the ground under the track. Transdem uses the newer five meter terrain for near track baseboards, and older ten meter terrain for baseboards away from the track. This allows for higher resolution in areas that are seen from the track. Ten meter baseboards saves CPU load and file sizes for areas away from the track.
