Description

This item is one of a variety of Victorian Railways 4 wheel wagon, using features from a standard set included in the AJS superscript, as well as the possibility of operating doors, hatches, or load indicators. This is setup can be used by a wide variety of wagons. If you can't find the option on the wagon, it's most likely not been used then. For the most part, the help file included will list this anyway.

For most rolling stock items you will find both a broad gauge and a standard gauge version listed, indicated by an icon (if applied) as well as in the name of the item.

Standard Features

  • Automatic Random Numbering (within a prototypical number range)
  • Operating Couplers (Not all items have this)
  • Operating Doors or load indicators (Not all items have this)
  • User selectable weathering/liveries (not all items have this, those that do have a 'liveries' sub menu in the properties window)
  • Industry Active
  • Use of the max-speed-permitted tag, to set a maximum speed when used with the Custom HUD rule, as well as for the AI
  • Optional groundplane 'shadow' meshes

Gauge

Where applicable, items come with both broad gauge and standard gauge versions. The standard gauge versions are generally not prototypical models, but have been modified so as to allow use on a majority of layouts without requiring modification of the layout. The broad gauge models are set for Victorian Railways/Irish broad gauge, which is 5ft3in.
