usage

This template should be placed on image pages when uploading an image you wish to place in the Public Domain.

  • It takes two parameters, the default '1' parameter should be the uploaders wiki-signature:

  • The optional | sort= sortby-string can be given to order the picture into a better group when the first part of the image filename is less useful than some middle part of the name, or when the image is one of a series so 'projectname-01', projectname-02,... tagging will keep the group together in the category.
  • When parserfunctions are enabled, the template will also take a few other category declarations so all can have a common sort declaration... cat1=name1 | cat2= name2 |catnn = name...
