These messages provide information on the state of various parts of the interface. You can use them to track which parts of the display are currently visible.

There are one or two special cases:

  • Interface-Event,Mouse-Enter: This can be used to detect a mouseover on a mesh based object and is broadcast from the object concerned.
  • Interface-Event,Mouse-Leave: This is sent when the mouse leaves an object, the message is also broadcast but needs to be used with care since the object concerned is not specified by the message.
  • Interface-Event,Set-Metric-Mode: This message can be used to track whether the display is using imperial or metric units.
