I believe that the latest procedural track, build 74539, doesn't have the half sleeps and half chairs any more. --pcas1986 (talk) 18:41, 28 April 2015 (AEST)
- It doesn't. Don't make track like this with the half sleepers - changing from one track type to another doesn't work properly if you do make half sleepers. --Jamesmoody (talk) 17:23, 4 May 2015 (AEST)
In my trials, I always used the older way of starting each mesh halfway between sleepers. --pcas1986 (talk) 18:41, 28 April 2015 (AEST)
- This is what we use now also. I would advise against following this document as it exists. Our document will show different methods and alignments for nearly every component. --Jamesmoody (talk) 17:23, 4 May 2015 (AEST)
At first I inserted a hidden mesh underneath the sleepers and chairs to account for the actual distance but the new tags "spacing-length-before" and "spacing-length-after" seem to take care of that. Haven't discovered what the new tag "padding-length" does yet.
I have noticed some changes but am reluctant to make any changes to the tutorial just yet. Basically I'm waiting for N3V to publish some information. --pcas1986 (talk) 18:41, 28 April 2015 (AEST)
