A Trainz mesh file is a file containing 3D geometry in one of the file formats directly supported by Trainz:
- IM file format (deprecated; not recommended.)
- Trainzmesh file format.
- PM file format (obsolete; do not use).
- LM.txt file format (this is a text-based container format that references child meshes).
The mesh file contains a number of render chunks and may contain skeleton information, attachment points, or reference local texture files.
