The TGR (Tasmanian Government Railways) Fingal Line is a route with supporting sessions that are available on the DLS. They are designed for T:ANE but they also work in TRS19 (all versions). The line is narrow gauge (3ft 6in - 1047mm).

The Trainz layout is modelled on the actual route from Conara Junction on the main north-south Hobart to Launceston line that ran east 75km (about 47mi) to St Marys near the east coast. The entire line, plus two short colliery branch lines, is modelled as it existed in the 1950s. The current line (2020) has been truncated at Fingal, about 2/3rds of its 1950s length, and all stations and yards have been removed.

Fingal Line Strip Map Four stations were manned during normal office hours - Conara Junction, Avoca, Fingal and St Marys. Cullenswood was manned as needed for coal operations.

Products carried in the 1950s were:-

  • Passengers
  • Coal
  • General Goods
  • Logs & Timber
  • Sheep & Wool
  • Apples
  • Fertilizer
  • Fuel

These products are commodities in the supporting sessions.

Currently, 2020, coal is the only product carried on the line.
